This is a very elegant cocktail hat, in purple and finished with beaded trim on the brim. The crown is covered in beads and sequins, the brim is a slightly contrasting plain purple satin. It is garnished with a spray of iridescent dyed cocque feathers. There are two loops underneath the hat for attaching either by threading onto a comb, attaching elastic to or bobby pins. This hat is entirely hand made. It is not a 'mass produced' base that has been decorated. I vary the design of each hat I produce to ensure that each one is unique. See less

The hat also has a tulle train on the back, and a pink satin ribbon hat band. I bound the brim of the hat with black bias cut satin for a formal look. This is a very pretty little hat, the pictures really do it no justice! The front blusher can be worn over the eyes or flipped back over the hat. It can also be worn further back on the head with the blusher over your hair. It also has three kinds of ribbon trailing in the back: a narrow black grosgrain, black satin with a picot edge, and more of the same pink satin that trims the hat band. I will attach a fastener of your choice: barrette, head band, ribbon, comb, or include two pearl head pins to pin it to your hair. (Since I know people have vastly varied preferences!)
