(01/28/09) Nothing Warms Your Feet Better Than ascii Binary!! This is a 60 x 80 inch black blanket/throw with computer terminal green binary code on it. The code repeats throughout the blanket and it simply translates into 'blanket'. The reverse side has the computer terminal green background with black lettering.... The /dev/blankets are 85% virgin acrylic and 15% polyester, making them nice and warm. Cover up with one on a cold night while you code; We certainly have! The durable jacquard weaving of the /dev/blanket makes it strong enough to withstand use and abuse, and the low cost lets you pile /dev/blankets high on your bed for the winter, and put them away in the spring and summer. (01/28/09) Rock in Your Pocket Practicing those hot guitar licks can be a bit of an inconvenience when you need to lug around a big heavy guitar amp. But Korg has got you covered with the amPlug VOX Mini Guitar Amp. These tiny amps plug directly into your guitar to give you truly amazing sound... and that is no exaggeration. The Amplug amps sound just the full size VOX amps they are based on, but instead of waking up the neighborhood you plug in headphones for personal listening. Even with its ultra-compact size, the amPlug perfectly reproduces the complex and warm distortion that is distinctive of a vacuum tube, as well as the powerful high gain produced by a large amp stack. Using all new analog modeling technology, the amPlug delivers full-fledged amp sound. There is even a jack for an external audio source which mixes with whatever you're playing on your guitar, perfect for practicing. Three different models give you the specific sound you are looking for. The "AC30" emulates the AC30 top...See less

(01/28/09) What's your status? If you've ever run across a "403 Forbidden" error on a web site, it means you've either stumbled onto the wrong page, or you've been snooping where you shouldn't be! One nice thing about the Hypertext Transfer Protocol that runs the web (HTTP for short) is that it includes helpful status codes such as "404 Not Found" when a resource can't be found and "403 Forbidden" when the web site you're knocking at does not want you to come in. One rarely seen status code is the elusive "200 OK" which basically means that everything went fine, and you're seeing the page you're supposed to be seeing! We thought it sure would be handy if life came with status codes, but since it doesn't, we did the next best thing and printed them on stuff you wear. But not just any old stuff - we had to try something different, and print them on undies. So we bring you HTTPanties for the discriminating woman who would prefer a web-savvy and somewhat-direct approach in the romance department....See less

(01/28/09) Do you sometimes feel that you ought to have come into this world with some basic instructions? We frequently do. Life would be so much easier if everybody had a manual and everybody took the time to RTFM. Sure, as a result life might be a tad more prosaic, but there's no doubt it would be more efficient. And an efficient life means more time playing games. So us folks here at ThinkGeek Tshirt Labs (TM) toiled and pulled our hair out trying to come up with a single simple maxim to help ensure you stay on the right path in life. And here it is. Maxim #1. 100% Cotton heavyweight black t-shirt with the phrase 'Keep out of direct sunlight' emblazoned on the front in white. Never needs watering!See less

(01/28/09) Turn 1 USB port into 4 with this clever little USB hub. Ok, you caught us: we lied to you all. The USB Squid is not a real squid, as squids have 8 legs and 2 tentacles. Heck, it's not even an octopus - they have 8 arms. The USB Squid has four arms, so it's sort of more a quadropus. But it more than makes up for its name with the special function of its arms. Just plug the USB Squid into your last USB port, and now you have four USB ports. The biggest difference between the USB Squid and other USB Hubs is the USB Squid's arms can bend in any direction (so all your USB cords don't have to be coming from the same place!) Also, they have ridges on one side and the top - and indents on the bottom and other side. You can actually connect the USB ports using these ridges in many different configurations. Maybe you need 4 vertical ports or 4 horizontal or the end two free and the middle stacked or maybe a zig zag hub. The choice is yours. Let's see a real squid do that! The USB Squid is 11"...See less

(01/28/09) The Curse of Nametags We hate going to events that require nametags. We don't like encouraging strangers to talk to us. Plus, we always forget to take the damn thing off when we walk out of whatever it was that required the nametag, so we're headed home, stopping by the grocery store, accidentally encouraging the produce manager to address us by name. Which is just creepy. The one exception would be if you had a really long name such as Tarquin Fin-tim-lin-bin-whin-bim-lim bus stop F'tang F'tang Olé Biscuitbarrel. Or if you had something complicated you had to say with your introduction, such as, "Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die." Saying that over and over gets tedious (just ask Count Rugen). So in this case, we figure we can condone the use of nametags. Just this once. Black 100% cotton shirt with white and red "Hello my name is..." sticker over the chest, with Inigo Montoya's full spiel wedged in there.See less

(01/28/09) Fuses Your Love of VideoGames and Cooking ThinkGeek loves a good FPS, and has even known to carry a few level 70 alts from time to time. But, really? We totally dig the old school. Back when a videogame was something you drove to - pumped quarters in. When you got there, the thrum of the machines sent a tingle down your spine. Your heart raced when you heard the incessant drumbeat of the Invader's attack. WHUMP-WHUMP-whump-whump, they marched, downwards - ever downwards, towards your mobile artillery cannon. You fired and fired, and blasted them from the sky, but the more you shot down, the faster they came! This was the golden age of videogames. Back then, a meal was a cola slushy and a hotpocket. Now, you're all grown up. You've traded in your pocketfull of quarters for a console, but you never forgot your roots. Pay homage to those days of yore when Italian plumbers battled giant apes and pie-chart-graphs ate ghosts. It's time to decorate in video-game style. This cutting board is...See less

(01/28/09) Embrace your inner executive 1st grader Stop pining for those boring, stuffy, expensive, ink dispersal rods. Everybody has one of those. You know, the kind that come with fancy wooden display cases and all kinds of 'precision' mechanisms. In fact, it's very common to get one of those pens from Corporate after you've donated your soul to the company for a decade or more. It's even more common to want to take that pen and quickly jab it into the...woah...we are sort of digressing here. Our point is simple. Don't get one of those pens, get one of these. High quality ballpoint pen created to look and feel like a real Crayola crayon. This fine writing instrument comes complete with its own beautiful solid wood storage case that also serves as a handsome desktop holder for display. (01/28/09) Shut up and show your spirit! Whether you went to college or not (or "university" as you Europeeps are wont to call it), you can appreciate the desire to show support for your school. It doesn't matter if you want to put a sticker on your car, paint your chest with funny letters, or wear a furry animal suit at sporting events. If you love your school you'll find a way to show it. Well, we've teamed up with the fine folks over at STFUniversity to provide an outlet to show a little school spirit. STFU is our favorite institution, and though many of us attended other universities around the world, we're encouraging as many people as we can to embrace STFU and its ideals. Tuition is cheap at STFU, in fact it's free. There are no books to buy, and since there's no physical campus, you can study as little or as often as you like; though we think you'll find the more you immerse yourself in the STFU lifestyle, the happier and more fulfilled all our lives will be. 100% cotton 1x1 rib babydoll...See less

(01/28/09) Keep in direct sunlight The cost of most forms of energy has increased a lot recently. Thankfully, the energy emitted from the Sun is still free (until some scrooge genius figures out how to charge for it). The Soldius 1 Solar Charger can help you tap into this free source of energy; you just plug it in and point it towards the Sun. It generates enough power to fully recharge your device batteries in just 2 to 3 hours (in direct sunlight). Compatible with all iPod flavors it also includes adapters for more than 250 models of mobile phones. With the extra demands on batteries due to the photo and video capabilities of our devices, the ability to recharge on the go is pretty essential. The device folds in half and it's light enough to fit in your shirt pocket or purse. The Soldius 1 is smaller than previous solar chargers because it does not contain a battery. To score extra points use your Soldius 1 Solar Charger while wearing this shirt. Send us a picture - it might make us smile. *...See less

(01/28/09) Get Bathed with Light Blue light changes to red when the water heats up! If you're like us, you have learned to flex your schedule to avoid the rush hour of your local city. Some of us get up super early. It's dark, then, and we smell. So we shower because we care about our coworkers. But turning on the bathroom light is too much for our weary eyes and many times we step into the shower before it has warmed up. In a word: it sucks. But the Geek Gods have smiled on us all, when they blessed us with the LED Shower Light. The LED Shower Light is a brilliant idea. It installs to a standard shower pipe in mere minutes. When you turn the shower on, the water powers a turbine and the LED Shower Light...well, lights up! Blue let's you know the water is chilly. When the water warms up to 89° F (32° C), the light changes to red. Now you can step in and not freeze your giblets off. And you don't even need to turn on the light now, because your whole shower glows. It makes for a much nicer...See less

(01/28/09) Liven up your FSM meetings Pastafarians around the world know that, every Friday, they must put on their pirate regalia, and worship the great Flying Spaghetti Monster (Blessed be the Noodly Appendage that deftly spreads the holy marinara, ramen). In an attempt to please pastafarians everywhere, we've released the Bone Chiller skull and crossbones silicon ice-cube tray. (01/28/09) The Future Is Available Today! OK, so generating electrical power from water might not require quantum math, but it is pretty darn interesting. And it's nice to see science and engineering play nice together to bring folks like you an attractive desktop clock that is powered solely on water (or really any electrolytic fluid like soda, coffee, BAWLS or even Beer). We would be civilized to only call you moronic if you bought this clock and used BAWLS to power it, but in the end you are the music maker, you are the dreamer of dreams and I suppose we would just have to respect that decision. The water clock will display the time and date in clear easy to read numbers just moments after you fill the liquid reservoirs in the back with the liquid of your choice. We've had ours running for weeks so far and the water levels have barely descended and we haven't had to refill it at all. How does it work? Magic mostly. And a little bit of science too. (01/28/09) A Most Magical Device... The venerable d20 die, that platonic solid whose numerical etchings cast an impartial providence upon friend and beast alike. It holds the power to grant or take life, and even the power to revoke such grants. Imagine such an influential tool intricately cradled in a spiral, that ancient symbol of the cycle of life, death, and re-birth. Now imagine that spirally-fenced die bound to your body and soul by cord around your neck - ready for whatever circumstance the Fates throw at your feet. Ok, now snap back to reality. it's just a 20 sided die in a removable cradle on an adjustable cord that goes around your neck. Sorry if we went overboard there. It's certainly the world's coolest icosahedron though. This necklace measures 24 inches long and the rope is adjustable to make it shorter. Die colors are assorted. Please allow us to choose a color for you. We're sure you'll love it!. And if you don't, just hate us for a wee bit. You'll get over it. If the Chromatic...See less

(01/28/09) Feel the Music in Your Bones If it wasn't for your music-collection, you couldn't make it through the day. You'd probably devolve into a mindless beast who flies into a froth at the mere mention of misfortune, maniacally massacreing your mates. They say music soothes the savage beast, and we believe it does. The problem constant soothing music brings is it can block the outside world. While that sounds like a good thing, we have to remain aware - this is an interactive and dangerous world. At work, your officemates may want to ask you a question. On the street, that honking horn or siren is warning you of imminent disaster. In the field, that high-pitched whistling portends a meteor about to smack you upside the head. It would be ideal if we could listen to our music while still being aware of the world around us. A problem finds a solution: The Vibe Body Sound headphones clip on to your outer ear and conduct vibrations through your skin and cartilage. Those vibrations rumble through...See less
