I LOVE this product! I had my makeup done at Shiseido a few weeks ago, and they used this product after the moisturiser, just around my nose, eyes, cheeks, etc (where there are some visible pores, or fine lines). Four hours later, I looked in the mirror, and realised my nose was not nearly as shiny as it normally is, nor were my pores very visible. My face is not very greasy, however, my nose seems to be the exception. At the end of the day, it's always really oily. My makeup also seemed to have a lot more staying power. I decided to wait and see if the product was really as good as it initially seemed to be, or whether I'd just had a lucky non-shiny day. After a few weeks, I can happily report that it really is effective! It's also good just by itself, and leaves your skin feeling very smooth and matte. It is absorbed quite quickly, and the consistency is lovely and silky. I have not had a problem with a chalky residue, however, I could anticipate this happening if you used too much,... See less
