Eva Solo bring their "less is more" aesthetic to the art of brewing tea. Designed to work in two different ways for two different sorts of tea. For long-brewing teas without tannins, the tea is poured direcly into the flask, hotwater is added and then the filter and lid are replaced. When the tea is poured, the filter automatically strains off the tea and the tip-lid automatically opens at the drip-free spout. With teas containing tannin or green teas, where continued exposure to the water leads to a bitter or "stewed" taste, the tea is placed inside the filter. Water is added, and after the brewing period the plunger is depressed. This seals the tea inside the filter, stopping the brewing process and allowing multiple cups to be poured without a decline in quality. Brilliant! The knitware cover keeps the tea warm, and the brewer disasembles into three parts (heatproof flask, filter and plunger/lid) for easy cleaning. See less

We know, we’ve had this on the site forever and it’s been a favorite of us here for the longest time, but they simply have been impossible to get a hold of. As you all know we enjoy working with small design companies who bring us beautiful, unusual and often times items that are impossible to get your hands on. Case in point this great mug, made in the UK in small batches and usually sold out. In case of the last shipment though the delay was two-fold: Not just was the factory behind, but once they were done, the woman who successfully runs Mocha in the UK gave birth to a baby boy and that put even more of a delay on things. Now we couldn’t really complain, so we waited patiently until mom and baby boy were ready to go back to running the company. So now they are here, in stock and ready to go.
