I am a 27-year-old wife, stepmom and full-time student. On September 4th, 2007, I will have been a full-time student for exactly a year. (Before becoming a full-time student, I spent 5-1/2 years working at a financial planning firm. Yes, I can give you some good financial advice. No, I can't tell you the secret to making $1,000,000 in one shot.)
I've been writing online since January 2002, starting with my own blog. Lately I've mainly been writing for a beauty product review site called Product Anarchy. We review beauty products, beauty services, hotels, spas and whatever else we feel like reviewing, as well as pointing out incredibly awesome things that we would like to have in a category called Immediate Gratification. In a way, it's sort of like Kaboodle in that most of the things I post are things there's no way I could afford.
When I'm not studying Chemistry and my various other classes in school, I love remodeling and redecorating our house*, re-upholstering furniture, working on sewing projects, downloading music on iTunes, watching good movies and TV, playing with my two cats and spending time with my family and friends.
*This year's projects so far: building a brand new attic access in our upstairs hallway and semi-finishing the attic for storage, totally redoing our office and turning it into a sewing room/study room for me, building 240 feet of 6' high privacy fence around our backyard and building a deck, which allowed me to carry around boards that are 3 times as long as I am tall. Yay. (We also knocked out a window in our dining room and had french doors installed, but we didn't do that ourselves, so I don't officially count it as something we've done.)
