There seems to be a lot of discrepancy in the maximum calf width for these, and there seems to be no rhyme or reason to which colors are which size. We'll keep checking them as we get more, and hopefully soon we'll get some consistency! For now: Recommended for 16 inches or less only: Teal, Grey, and Walnut. Best bet for larger calves (may be uncomfortably snug at 20 inches): Black, White, Hunter, Natural, Olive, Plum, Dark Brown, and Royal. The other colors should be fine up to 17 or 18 inches. Anyone with a calf circumference of less than 16 inches should have no problems with any of them. The strap is 43"l and made of soft dark brown corduroy. There is one inside pocket and the flap has a magnetic closure. This is a great all purpose bag. This is my own original drawing of an elm tree screen printed on linen and sewn into a patchwork messenger bag. I use lots of recycled fabrics, corduroy and cotton. I've included pictures of the back and inside so you can see the whole thing. Bag is 13"w x 12"h x 3"d. Strap is 44" long and made of dark olive green corduroy, back and sides are black and tan corduroy, front under the flap is ultrasuede with a swirl pattern, lining of the flap is corduroy and the inside lining is cotton calico with a pocket. Flap has a magnetic closure. Patchwork on the front flap is lace, corduroy and tapestry fabric. Thanks for looking! See less

I love this fabric! It's a beautiful shiny brown fabric with yellow/orange flocked velvet leaves. There is a large front pocket on the front of the bag. The lining of the bag is a chocolate brown polyester cotton blend. There is a zipper pocket inside and one patch pocket inside the bag. Bag Measurements are approximately 11"W (28cm) and 11"(28cm) in height. The depth of the bag sides are 3.5"(9cm) Straps are 39"(99cm) long and 2.5" (6.5cm) wide If your from Edmonton, please let me know. We could set up a meeting so that you can save on shipping.
