Excellent list, the variety of topics is fantastic....and each stirs my curiosity, though some would leave me frustrated because I am one of "those" people who have a real problem understanding math, and yet am fascinated with physics all the same. Thanks for sharing. Report Spam

@paws72 - Thanks for your nice comments. As a Maths person, I enjoy a few highly technical books but I also read a lot that can be understood by more casual readers. Chaos was such a book, fyi! Another that I really enjoyed was The Man Who Knew Too Much - a biography of Alan Turing, a code cracker who came up with the broad idea of a computer. Report Spam

Oh....I am smitten with Chaos theory, the Butterfly Effect...I went to grad school for Pschology....but my interest is social psychology (all the knowledge, didn't do the finishing up touches...too involved with my five kids, four of whom were teens at the time), BUT I had to take Advanced Statistics for the Social Sciences....THREE times, nearly cost me my spot in the grad program. So I am very interested in Chaos theory, also in things like the tipping point and all Czeksentmihaly (sp???) stuff on learning and "Flow" and creativity. LOVE Olive Sachs (sp???) things too...and codes and A Beautiful Mind. I do logic puzzles...LOVE it...but it might take me five years to get one right...never look though. LOL. My favorite part of psych. in grad school was how the brain actually stores and uses items. My BF from undergrad school is a genius in both math and words...I so admire her....I am thinking you are her equal...sorry if I am gushing...I am also an INFP (Myers Briggs type...broad but it helps give an idea), and VERY interested in interesting people. Know about Turing, but haven't heard of the book....but I am going to get a pic of it right now. Again, Thanks so much for sharing your gifts. Pat Report Spam
