(05/31/10) Tours of the Inn, with qualified guides, can be arranged through the Assistant Under Treasurer or through Mailuser@lincolnsinn.org.uk At least two weeks notice is required, and preferably more than this. Groups must comprise a minimum of 15 people – individuals and small groups cannot be accepted. The maximum size is normally 50 people, who would be divided into two groups, touring concurrently. The tour, which lasts between 90 minutes and 2 hours, will include visits to the Old Hall, Great Hall and Chapel, and the group will be briefed on the history, artwork and current role of Lincoln’s Inn. Morning tours, usually starting with tea/coffee at about 10.30 am, finish before lunch, while afternoon tours, usually starting at 2 pm, conclude with refreshments at about 3.30 pm. Payment for the tour, which costs £5 per person (including refreshments), should be made by cheque on the day to tour guide. Cheques are to be made payable to “Lincoln’s Inn”.
