Mindy - thanks for doing all of the research on hotels! I would be fine with any of them, although as much as I love Shutters, I think the price is a little steep. Re: Bev Hills v. Santa Monica... Do we think we might want to spend some time lounging on the beach in SM? If so, SM might be a good choice. Alternatively, if we'd like to hit Rodeo drive for a little shopping, BH might be better. I'm completely fine with either. Another option is the Le Merigot Marriot hotel in SM. They have an internet special that includes one massage (105 value) for 349, so implied room cost is 244. If we're doing the spa at the hotel, that might be a good option (Mark and I have stayed there.. it is nice); but, if we're doing Burke Williams (which I'm totally fine with), then it probably doesn't make sense. Again, I'm totally fine with any of these… Mindy you can just surprise me! Re: dinner... if we stay in SM, and if you are all up for Italian, then I'd suggest Toscana (in Brentwood). It is my favorite restaurant in LA... great service and the food is impeccable. That said, I'm always up for other places, too :) Report Spam
