Inevitably, wed end up spending half the day in the first few rooms we happened upon, and when we finally realized what time it was wed sprint through as much of the rest of the museum as we could. One of the rooms we often lost ourselves in was the Hall of Birds. These elegant bird trays take me back those long afternoons at the museum.
