This pretty modern rah-rah style dress by Mary Skotnicki is brand new, never worn. It includes all the latest design features, and the dress is lightweight for ease of dancing. The rah-rah layers are supported by shaped and stiffened underpanels to maintain the proper “sit” of the dress, while allowing high kicks and movement of the soft skirt. The main fabrics are a rich blue velvet and beaded white satin lace, coordinated with turquoise and white embroidery. The skirt lining has blue and white stripes, and the soft shawl is lace over turquoise satin. Matching bloomers and a puffy blue velvet headband are also included. This dress is very striking and pretty, and will have excellent stage presence. It would ideally suit an 11 - 13 year-old dancer. It has about an inch of letdown in the bodice and sleeves. Brand new Cherry Blossom is a one-off original design by Rachel Murphy of Silverlode Needlecraft. The bodice base is a shimmery fuchsia-pink liquid lamé. The eight skirt petals (four front, four back) are individually lined with the same lamé, as well as the skirt lining and bloomers. Each petal is attached only at the waist. The embroidery is all freehand machine work using a satin stitch in metallic and rayon threads, and its design is composed of metallic fabrics in a pink and copper color scheme. The soft underskirt is a brown-gold eyelet overlaid with pale pink lace netting, and trimmed with a 3-layer pink-and-white lace trim. The sleeves are a multicolor glitterdot overlaid with the same pale pink lace. The bodice and 4 panel skirt are primarily constructed of ice blue, flower sequin, overlay on silk. The sleeves are made of coral embroidered overlay and feature elegant ruffles at the bottom. Adorned with 100's of Swarovski crystals, this dress shows beautifully on and off stage. The flower design applique on the bodice, skirt, sleeves and shawl pairs beautfully with the rich sweetened salmon material. There is both let out and take in room, however the dress has never been altered. It is suitable for the championship level, and has been worn in both prelim and open competitions. Main fabrics are black sequined lace overlay, hot pink glitter holographic lycra, white with silver holographic glitter, white sequined lace, silver sequins, pink lace, and white ruffles. Intricate floral design on sleeves, skirt and bodice. Soft shawl, underskirt is pink polka dots on black and a gathered pink lace ruffle. Dancer is selling simply because the dress sadly no longer fits. From a smoke-free, pet-free home and has been stored flat.
