Crafted from three-dimensional veneer, this chair realizes the single shell molded plywood chair that Charles Eames held as an ideal. The modern material is the result of Reholz technology that molds a 3D form of plywood in two ways: concave for the seating area and convex for the arms. It's a shape that was previously available only in plastic chairs, never before with the warmth of wood. The 3D process uses six layers of oak veneer, bonded together for a fluent shell that's only 6mm thick. Strong and comfortable, the Cox Chair swivels on its four slim legs and the deep seat is slightly shaped like a Windsor chair. Lightly scaled, with soft curves and clearly defined edges, it is suitable for dining, lounge or office.
