(07/29/08) Jun 4, 2006 - This set is very good for the price. I've owned it for about three years and it still sounds better than a lot of people's more pricey sets. Here are my problems: -Bass drum doesn't provide a strong "thud", but it's still good -Cymbals that come with it suck. They dent immediatley and should be replaced ASAP. -The throne that comes with it keeps sliding down, and I would have to hammer it to keep it from sliding (I'm not fat, I was about 130 lbs when I had this problem) -The snare is not bad, but should be replaced when you can. These drums have really nice toms that sound really good for recording. They've been good for me for the past three years, and although I am finally upgrading the entire kit to Starclassics, I WILL NOT sell these to help pay for the starclassics. I would definitley recommend these drums for beginning/intermediate playersSee less
