After college they happened upon vintage milliner’s wings and agreed; "This is gorgeous. We can do better.’” Soon after, the two began by making wings from naturally molted feathers. Each wing is unique. The Small Wing Pin is the same size as the small wing, but has a pin on the back, allowing it to be worn as well. The Small Wing Pin measures approximately 4" long by 2" wide. In fact, these quirky British products have an almost cult-like following by the people who collect them. (There is an active Owners’ Club as well as an Animal Hospital for repairs.) Made in England at a small company with only a dozen or so employees, these leather animals are handcrafted using traditional methods and materials, and no two are alike. The six-foot-long Superking Rhinoceros can be used as a seat; the standard-size animals are about two feet long and can be used as footstools; the minis make great gifts that will be cherished for generations. Each animal is made from English full-grain cowhide with a sturdy steel and wooden frame inside that’s carefully built up with fine compressed wool to make the shape of each animal.
