I often wonder what contribution I'm making to society and if my teaching has any meaningful value. I've surmised that the exploration and enhancement of our physical and mental abilities, would eventually lead us to a higher level of conscience. Therefore as our souls (the essence of our being) passes thru this time and place, we must experience physical and mental growth before we can achieve spiritual growth. Only then, can we have compassion for the world in which we live. Arriving at this higher state, we then no longer feel the need to lift a hand to our fellow man. In the world of martial arts we practice Newton's 3rd law of physic, wherever there is action, there is reaction or cause and effect.
