The felt that I use is made from 100 percent post consumer recycled water bottles. So, you drink water, throw the empty bottle in the recycling bin. Then they are melted down and turned them into this beautiful, really high quality soft felt that I then use to make pillows. Applique shapes are all cut by hand and applied with machine stitching. While I do use paper patterns for the shapes, no two pillows are ever the same so you can be sure you are getting an original product. I've created this canvas bucket as a place to store those lonely socks that make it out of the dryer without their partner. Sooner or later those missing socks usually show up, either in the next load of laundry or after being found under the bed, and by keeping them all in one place, it's easy to match the pairs back up. The bucket measures approximately 7" in diameter by 10.5" tall and can be laid flat for storage. The print was carved by hand by me and has been cured so that the bucket is washable.See less
