You can wear this necklace with a cocktail dress in the evening or under the collar of a crisp white shirt in the morning and you would still look like a diva. I used oval flat gold faux pearls and interspersed among them round bronze pearls. The small separators are matte gold plated faceted beads or seed beads in related colors. I made four strands in graduated lengths and attached them to gold-plated chain that lays at the back of your neck. Why chain, you ask, why not continue the four strands of pearls to the back? Because it has been my experience that this is more comfortable to wear. I like this type of necklace so much, I made some for myself in various type of beads. This is an unusual necklace I designed around five oriental-design spacers I repurposed from an old broken bracelet. The symbols on the spacers give out such spiritual vibes, that had to use genuine semiprecious beads to round out the design. And this is how it was born.... The large beads you see are reconstituted turquoise, rodochroisite, and green aventurine quartz. The smaller beads next to the spacers are 3 mm carnelian beads. And in the back, next to the end caps, I used 5 mm jasper beads. Necklace measures 18" (45 cm) on the inside, but it has a 2"(5 cm) extender. Closes with a lobsterclaw clasp. At the end of the extender, there is a bead in the shape of a Buddha silhouette. All the plating is gold and it is enhanced with black enamel for contrast. Necklace comes with full gift packaging. I wrapped them individually on sterling silver wire and piled them up generously to achieve a luxurious effect. The baroque pearls in the strand are a compelling 8-9 mm. The bracelet measures 7.5" (19 cm) end to end but will fit a 7" wrist as a toggle bracelet needs a little more slack. The charm is a little over 2" (5 cm) in length. I made the links/beads myself from polymer clay, various metal castings and Swarovski crystals. Then I coated them with a double layer of clear acrylic. Closes with a toggle clasp. All the metal parts are non allergenic, which means there is no nickel in the plating. The length is 8.5" (21.5 cm), but it fits a traditional 7" wrist.
