It's pretty poor when Zen Cart User "wood98311" slams a book he has not even bought, as the authors have recently pointed out. Secondly - this is the first book in the series and makes clear that the next book for Intermediate Users will cover the over-rides system, custom modules, some PHP and MySQL etc. "wood98311" also makes the mistake of not understanding that the book uses the 'classic' template which is itself an over-rides template. Here is what I found: Having come to Zen Cart from Actinic I was desperate to get to grips with what looked like the e-store of my dreams, but did not know where to start. The forums give you snippets of advice but what I wanted was a cohesive, step by step manual. Well this book does that, after all Zen Cart doesn't cost anything but your time, and this book makes that time so much more productive. If you're new to Zen Cart, you will NOT regret buying this.
