ok, so I have these. They are the ONLY pair of flip flops I own as I freakign cannot STAND people that wear flip flops all the time. I wear them around the house mostly, but once camping, and I think out twice. They are super comfortable. Not 100% they "work." While I am out of shape, I have pretty nice legs that stay pretty toned, so I didn't notice any soreness or muscleache after wearing them all day... Also I didn't pay $50 for them. After trying them on at Macy's I ended up buying at Lady Foot Locker becasue I had a 30% off coupon. So I got them for $35, and for that price I LOVE them. Totally worth it.

We've tried these on several dozen dancers and they overwhelmingly found that these run about true to size (if you are a half size you will most likely go up to the next size - 6.5 wears a 7, 7.5 wears an 8, etc.). The surface and the footbed are made of Nubuck (a very fine version of suede) and feel like chamois, and the sole is the fabulous Aris Allen Raw Sole; awesome to dance on. The heel is 2 1/4" and the platform is 1/2" (making the heel feel like it's only 1 3/4"). The toe hole is less than 1/2" across (purposely small enough that your toes won't stick through and get kicked by bad dancers!). The camel version is kind of a putty / taupe / camel / khaki color. | Sole is flexible to help you feel the floor. Great swing dance shoes because of the cute styling, slideable sole, and the comfort you expect in a swing shoe (that's going to be on the dance floor all night). I like that these have a rubber sole. Seem better for everyday wear. My leather soles get SO scratched and worn. Wish there was a rubber sole option in the other styles as well...
