The 4-1/4" x 3" x 1-1/2" tall base supports an 8" long gooseneck with (14) bright white LEDs at the top. Silver-plastic and chrome, with a pushbutton switch on the base, it comes with (3) "AAA" batteries. We're putting ours on top of the dresser so maybe we'll finally be able to tell what color socks we're taking out of the top drawer, but it would make a nice little reading or camping lamp. Just push the angled point of this J-shaped hook through the drywall and let the curve glide the 3-5/8" long back up against back of the wall. You're left with a small 1/2" x 3/8" hook that will hold up to 40 lbs. Tired of the picture? Just back the hook out and all you have is a hole the diameter of a wire. Call it the Renter's Friend.
