Materials: No. 10 cotton crochet floss and recommended hook size for floss. Guage reallly doesn’t matter. For a smaller, tigher leaf use smaller hook. For a more open, lacy leaf, use a larger hook. The shamrock may also be made in any yarn (thicker yarns will produce correspondingly larger shamrocks). Keys: ss = slip stitch sc = single crochet hdc = half double crochet dc = double crochet ch = chain Base (Granny Square): Ch 4, ss in first ch to form a ring. Round 1: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), 2 dc in ring. *Ch 2, 3 dc in ring. Repeat from * two more times. Ch 2, ss in top of ch-3 to join. Turn. (12 dc and 4 ch-2 spaces.)
