A lot of people are coming to realize that in this troubled and dangerous world, alarm systems have become increasingly popular. People from some city areas have learned that they cannot live without a security system. During the decade which I'd grown up in, it wasn't uncommon to leave your doors unlocked, so I never had reason to consider looking at home alarms because we trusted others. Today's society seems to be the complete opposite too this. I'm seriously looking at having a home alarm; mainly because of the worsening crime problem we all now face. I found out only recently that most new vehicles come with an alarm installed as standard equipment. The Jeep that I bought had an alarm, but I can't say if it prevented anyone from vandalizing or breaking in, because I am not sure if anyone has tried. It probably does provide some peace of mind for me in more ways than one, because I also saved on my auto insurance because it's fitted. Businesses of all sizes should have an alarm... See less
