I go through a lot of lovely felted wool sweaters. When the bigger projects are done, I'm left with mountains of small scraps, and I just cannot bear to throw them away! I love wool... there is something so tactile and earthy about wool that makes me want to use it for everything (and I do!). These brooches are made from those precious scraps. Each one is shaped by hand and secured to a hinged pin for convenient style. Wear it as a scarf pin, a mini-corsage or for any occasion where you want to get a little extra attention. It measures approximately 3.5” in diameter. I have priced them very affordably because I want them to find new homes above the ground! Waste not, want not. This particular one is made from the remnants of a 100% high-grade cashmere sweater tee. Super soft, lightweight and in the sweetest shade of cool pink. A pale yellow cashmere center and deep blue green lambswool leaves peek out from the back and give the bloom dimension and extra interest. Thanks for looking! See less
