Inspired by Victorian mourning jewelry and their fascination with the "object" I have created a modern version. Each RELIC consists of an approximately 1" handblown glass globe on a 24" gold fill chain with a spring ring clasp. The robin is a bird of spring, a time for new growth and new beginnings, rebirth and renewal The robin redbreast teaches us how to make these changes with joy in our hearts. Its song is a happy one reminding us to let go of our personal drama and learn to laugh with life.
