The camera has just 13.4MB of memory built in, which holds a measly four photos at the highest quality setting. That means that you'll want to get a memory card right away. The TZ1 uses Secure Digital cards, and I'd say that a 256MB or 512MB card is a good starter size. High speed cards are worth the extra bucks on Panasonic cameras, but you don't need to go overboard and buy a 150X card -- 50X has worked fine for me. The A710 is based on the A700 (surprise surprise), with its two big new features being optical image stabilization and a higher resolution sensor. On the NV3 there's just 15MB of onboard memory, which holds a paltry four images at the highest quality setting. What that means is that you'll need to buy a memory card right away, which increases the initial purchase price of the camera. If you're just taking pictures I'd say that a 512MB card is a good starter size. If you're going to be watching movies or listening to music then you should be looking at a 2GB card. The FinePix F30 has an average bundle. While Fuji included a 16MB card with the F10, they chose to go the internal memory route with the F30. Unfortunately they included just 10MB of onboard memory, which holds just three photos at the highest quality setting. That means that you'll want to buy a memory card right away, which drives up the initial cost of the camera. The F30 uses xD Picture Cards -- which currently top out at 2GB -- and I recommend a 512MB card as a good starter size. Casio has today revealed an all new ultra-slim 'Exilim Card' series digital camera, the seven megapixel EX-S770. Sporting a new smoothed, rounded design and glossy finish it looks slick and expensive. The S770 features a three times optical zoom lens, a large bright 2.8" LCD monitor, and 16:9 format MPEG-4 video capture. The S770 is 17 mm (2/3 in) thin and weighs just 127 g (4.5 oz) without its Lithium-Ion battery.
