All of my tentacles are hand made, no two are exactly alike, but the general size and, you know, awesomeness, remain constant. I will need a six week lead time to complete the piece. The octopus is a master of disguise, and can change color at will, so I'm offering your choice of mottled paint colors (and porthole treatments). I've shown a few examples in my photos (actually, they are photoshopped color variations of the original orange-red tentacle, but you get the idea). Contact me with whatever combination you desire and we'll work together to make the octo-arm statement of your dreams. The construction is as follows: A wooden support structure is built. These are regular 16 ounce pint glasses etched with a very mild acid. Each glass is completely unique, i never reuse a stencil ! It's one of a kind art you can drink out of. This is a set of 6...priced where you get a glass free! They are technically dishwasher safe...the washer won't hurt the design. I'd wash by hand just to be safe though! These come sandwiched between a wax paper backing and a thicker slick cardstock paper. Peel the wax paper back off ( the thin stuff), making sure the design stays on the wax paper side ( the part you are peeling off). Peel until the paper side comes off with the whole design on it. Then carefully apply one corner of the pulled off wax paper ( design side down) to the clean surface you want the design on...then using a credit card slowly press down and scrape, going across the paper backing to make the design stick down onto the surface. Do it slowly to avoid air bubbles. Do this until the whole sheet of paper is flat. Once the design/paper is flat on the surface, peel up a corner of the wax paper...VERY SLOWLY!!
