We know that in our perfectionism that we procrastinate on de-cluttering because we don't have the right size boxes or even have any boxes. So we put it off until another day, meanwhile the clutter keeps piling up. Part of the problem with the boxes can be, the weight of filling them up. We fill these boxes and then we can't even carry them through the house to put away, carry them to the car to give away or the boxes are too heavy and big to transfer the contents into recycling bins or trash cans. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission in 1998 (the latest study) clothes dryers were associated with 15,600 fires that resulted in 20 deaths and 370 injuries. Cleaning out the lint in the dryer is one way to help prevent a house fire from happening to you. Something so simple that we do not think about, can save homes and lives. When you keep the dryer vents clean the dryer will also run more efficiently energy wise and therefore, save you time and money.
