We are Jason and Alex, The Basement Invaders. Jason does most of the chain mail and wire wrapping, while Alex does most of the clay items and glass painting. Sometimes we collaborate and make something really cool using our skills together. We both had a long history of working on crafty projects, but unfortunately had let that hobby go because of our busy lives. However, shortly after we met we both discovered this lost love of ours and thus crafting started a lovely romance. Now, we have a wonderful relationship started by a love of creating art, and we want to share what we have created with you.

However, shortly after we met we both discovered this lost love of ours and thus crafting started a lovely romance. Our shop name, The Basement Invaders, is actually borrowed from a punk band Alex helped start in high school. She has a long history with and love of the name so we decided that it would be a good name for our shop. Beyond those reasons for naming our shop The Basement Invaders , we also decided it is an appropriate name because we routinely raid basements for many of our art supplies.
Some say that we are made of awesomesauce and we extract it carefully through a complex process and inject it into all our works. Some also say that we put a little piece of ourselves into everything we make, but that seems a little creepy.
