So, they're a bit large and the heel slips but nothing that thicker socks or a heel insert can't fix. It's not a big enough problem that I'll worry about exchanging them. They're also a bit slouchy at the ankles, but I think that adds to the comfort of them. They're not stiff or hard to walk in at all. Great look and feel and at the sale price, you can't beat them! This is also my second order from Zappos. Got my shipping confirmation this morning. Had my shoes by 2:00 pm. This is what will keep me coming back to Zappos.See less

I cleaned them with a wet rag and oiled the leather (arrived VERY stiff). I can tell they'll need more oiling to be comfortably pliable and I think I'll need to sand the metal pieces because they're quite rusty and sharp-- one of the pieces on a buckle actually ripped a hole in my pants. They were squeezing my feet in every way with a thin pair of socks. They are also very stiff and the soles were hard to walk in. I had to return them.
