About a month ago, the Kaboodle Holiday Shopping Scouts flew in from all over the country for a two-day video shoot here at Kaboodle HQ. The fab four girls—Kaboodlers laratherese (pictured above), agauthier79, vntgbabe, and weslee—walked in the first morning to find both a breakfast and beauty spread awaiting them… and two professional makeup artists armed with flat irons and more makeup brushes than I could count.

Yesterday marked the launch of Forever21’s beauty line, Love & Beauty, making F21 the first fashion retailer of its kind in the US to come out with its own line of cosmetics (Zara and H&M have their own beauty lines—but alas they are not yet offered in the States).

Love & Beauty is obviously geared to a younger demographic (in step with Forever21’s fashion), but succeeds in giving all of us a cheaper alternative to playful makeup (reminding us that makeup is fun, after all!). See the entire line here, including glittery eyeliners, metallic eye shadow duos, and more—most of which costs less than $5!
