Since the November 20th release of New Moon, cosmetic companies have reported a 200% rise in pale foundation powders and liquids. Twi-hards are rushing to counters like L’Oreal—whose True Match powder in rose ivory have risen by 133% in the last two weeks—in an effort to emulate members of the Cullen clan.

Now four steps seems a tad daunting, but the great thing about this Intense Repair Kit is that you can save time by occasionally skipping a couple of steps (sometimes I stick to just the Release Cleansing Shampoo and the Renew Daily Conditioning Sealant).

Overall, this restorative set is worth the fifty bucks—especially if you have desperately damaged hair.

Hello, Lady…or should I say, Hello, Kitty? Lady Gaga poses as Hello Kitty to celebrate the world’s most beloved feline’s 35th birthday. Admittedly, I only caught part of last night’s American Music Awards, but what little I saw (eh hem, Adam Lambert’s salacious performance of “For Your Entertainment”) left me wishing I made the time to watch the entire show. Besides on-stage shockers—like Adam’s spontaneous kiss and JLo’s fall (from which she recovered without skipping a beat)—a trend I observed the little bit I caught of last night’s show was the prevalence of black polish. From Demi Lavato’s digits and Kelly Clarkson’s fingernails (both shown below) down to Shakira’s toes (shown here), the stars accessorized all kinds of ensembles with black polish.
