Yesterday marked the launch of Forever21’s beauty line, Love & Beauty, making F21 the first fashion retailer of its kind in the US to come out with its own line of cosmetics (Zara and H&M have their own beauty lines—but alas they are not yet offered in the States).

Love & Beauty is obviously geared to a younger demographic (in step with Forever21’s fashion), but succeeds in giving all of us a cheaper alternative to playful makeup (reminding us that makeup is fun, after all!). See the entire line here, including glittery eyeliners, metallic eye shadow duos, and more—most of which costs less than $5!

The ladies of New Moon stepped out on the red carpet at the LA premier Monday night looking very much fresh-faced and alive…how uncharacteristic, right? While some played up eyes (like Kristen Stewart, above), others were all about lips (Ashley Greene) or daring nails (Dakota Fanning). See pictures of these ladies and other stars of New Moon along with five products for achieving each gal’s look. Simply click here or the photo above.

Then come back and tell us which Twigirl’s look you liked the best!

MAC takes its newest collection to the boudoir. This nine-piece line—aimed mostly at die-hard MAC followers and collectors—is stylishly packaged in silver silkscreen luxe containers. Three new shades of lip glosses and lipsticks (each) are complemented by two Sheer Mystery powders, with a chic clutch to round out this collection. So paint on your bedroom eyes and check out the individual boudoir products by clicking here or the image above.

Note: Collection will be available at select MAC locations starting November 25th.

Lancôme Ôscillation...
Mineral makeup is a major trend these days for its healthy skin benefits and flawless application. But I can't get over the mess most mineral makeup causes—so much seems to go to waste when you blow the excess off the brush. Lancome's new high-tech mineral foundation may have solved my problem. Or, rather, the oscillating application process has. A plush applicator vibrates against your skin not only administering the mineral foundation but buffing and massaging your face for a smoother and softer complexion.

I'm eager to try Lancome's Oscillation Powerfoundation to see if it really makes your skin healthier and creates a "pixel-perfect" look. Either way it seems makeup is turning to technology more and more these days and I love it! What will they think of next? I'd like to see an eyeliner that applies itself or a machine that paints my nails for me.

Has anyone tried this vibrating foundation?

Bobbi Brown is ringing in this holiday season with cool, shimmery shades. The aptly named Chrome Collection features the silvery plums and grays we've been seeing since September. Bobbi Brown has also gotten on the silver-lip trend with new shades that deliver sheer shimmery coverage in some unusual shades like Plum Pearl and Chrome Metallic.

The muted colors will match the winter landscape and the added shimmer will be the perfect accent to a sparkly party dress. I wouldn't mind getting the Extreme Party Mascara in my stocking this year!
