Yesterday marked the launch of Forever21’s beauty line, Love & Beauty, making F21 the first fashion retailer of its kind in the US to come out with its own line of cosmetics (Zara and H&M have their own beauty lines—but alas they are not yet offered in the States).

Love & Beauty is obviously geared to a younger demographic (in step with Forever21’s fashion), but succeeds in giving all of us a cheaper alternative to playful makeup (reminding us that makeup is fun, after all!). See the entire line here, including glittery eyeliners, metallic eye shadow duos, and more—most of which costs less than $5!

The ladies of New Moon stepped out on the red carpet at the LA premier Monday night looking very much fresh-faced and alive…how uncharacteristic, right? While some played up eyes (like Kristen Stewart, above), others were all about lips (Ashley Greene) or daring nails (Dakota Fanning). See pictures of these ladies and other stars of New Moon along with five products for achieving each gal’s look. Simply click here or the photo above.

Then come back and tell us which Twigirl’s look you liked the best!

Bobbi Brown is ringing in this holiday season with cool, shimmery shades. The aptly named Chrome Collection features the silvery plums and grays we've been seeing since September. Bobbi Brown has also gotten on the silver-lip trend with new shades that deliver sheer shimmery coverage in some unusual shades like Plum Pearl and Chrome Metallic.

The muted colors will match the winter landscape and the added shimmer will be the perfect accent to a sparkly party dress. I wouldn't mind getting the Extreme Party Mascara in my stocking this year!

Do you want to accent your eyes but would rather not have the high drama of thick black liner or smoky shadow? Try black’s softer, more demure cousin, purple. Eggplant and plum hues are always in for fall and they work just as well to brighten and highlight the eyes. You can smudge the liner close to the lash line for a barely-there look or create a thicker line for more depth. Urban Decay’s new Ink for Eyes in Eggplant and Smashbox’s Cream Eyeliner in Midnight Purple are applied with a brush and have the creamy consistency of liquid eyeliner, but the more forgiving nature of pencil.

What hues are your eyes sporting?

“It” supermodel Agyness Deyn was all about the eyes last night—she attended the ACE awards with Shu Uemura’s Black Velvet Feather False Eyelashes ($25) adhered to her lower lids. Nope, the model/singer didn’t get mixed up while applying makeup—the girl is trying a new look. What do you think? Are faux lower lid lashes cutting edge or just too creepy?
