L'Oréal's new iPhone app, My L'Oréal Colorist, is the high-tech way to select the right hair color for you. The app aims to give users a professional hair-color consultation without going to a salon. Once downloaded (it's free), you can scan barcodes of L'Oréal hair colors and answer questions from the app to get a color recommendation. The app also takes into account the user's preferences for permanence of the color and the formulation. And, if you feel like letting the world know what shade you're going dye your locks, the app includes Facebook integration.
