One of my two favorite holidays is El Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). I lived in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico when I was 18 to 19 years old, and since then, Mexico has had a big impact on my life. Day of the Dead is a holiday in which people of Latin American descent celebrate their friends & family members who have died. It isn't a sad holiday, it's actually extremely colorful and festive. It's more of a big party in which they celebrate loved ones by making them food, drinks, toys and other gifts that they leave at their graves. This makes it easier for the dead to find their living members & reconnect. This set consists of 4 handpainted calaveras (skulls) made with vegan shea butter soap. They weigh a total of 2.8 ounces, and they are scented with an amazing Cinnamon Sugar scent that is simply mouth watering! The paint is a skin safe, water based paint that will come off when you first use the soap. I don't recommend licking or eating the soap, no matter how good they smell.... See less
