(10/20/08) This pendant is made to look like the golden snitch from Harry Potter. Tiny silvery pewter wings are attached to an intricately pattened gold ball that opens up so you can hide little treasures inside! The wings are attatched with little metal pins that go through the sides of the ball, so they're very secure and will not break off with normal wear. The ball is 11/16 inch in diameter and the pendant measures 1-7/16 (about an inch and a half) from wingtip to wingtip. The inside is roughly half an inch in diameter. It hangs from a a black satin ribbon that measures roughly 20 inches in length, and fastens with a silvertone clasp. The pendant is attatched to the ribbon with a silvertone bail (the little loop just above the ball that the ribbon slides through) to match the clasp. The golden ball part of the pendant MAY CONTAIN LEAD, so this item is not suitable for small children. The laces can easily be made shorter, just make a firm knot where you would like them to end and cut off the excess lace. *Made of top quality Finnish yarn (75% wool, 25% polyamide) *Machine washable (warm water, gentle cycle) *Very adjustable, one size fits most feet. Your foot size doesn't matter as much as your calf circumference. For reference, the pictures show how the socks would look like around calves of 33 cm / 13" in circumference, leaving room to expand.
