I am reasonably happy with this case, but I am annoyed that Nikon doesn't make more than one size/length case, given that different users may have different length lenses. I bought it to use on my Nikon D200 with the 18 - 200 Nikkor zoom lens. It works, but if you use that lens without the lens shade, the case is longer than it needs to be (annoying waste of space, making camera bulkier than it needs to be). If you use it with the lens shade, it's just a bit too short. I use the lens shade all the time and at first was very annoyed it was too short, but then realized that if I really forced it, I could just barely fasten the velcro with the lens shade on. And within a week I had stretched the leather enough that it closed pretty easily with the lens shade attached. So it is useable, tho it should be a bit bigger to properly cover the camera body (e.g., in rain). My other complaint is the method of fastening the case to the camera strap. I didn't realize when I ordered it that it would... See less

This viewfinder was purchased as a gift for my spouse, and it is exactly what I expected. Good fit onto the camera, smooth operation, and overall excellent performance. I especially liked the ability to preview the depth of field and image composition. It also worked well in full daylight situations when the viewfinder is often difficult to see clearly. The only disadvantage was that when we rotated the viewfinder on the camera body and then placed the camera into a bag, the viewfinder could slide or be pushed off the track. I bought it to use on my Nikon D200 with the 18 - 200 Nikkor zoom lens. Price Paid: $0 Summary: Procrastination pays! I held off buying a dedicated DSLR wide zoom while I was shooting both film and digital, and since then this great lens came out. I've always been a fan of very wide angle lenses and used 20mm quite often on 35mm cameras. With this lens, I have an even wider perspective and it's a lot of fun. The price of this lens is very good - about half of the Nikon 12-24 and the performance is quite good. I've never owned a Sigma lens before and won't hesitate to buy from them again in the future. Strengths: This lens handles flare very, very well. It's a 10mm zoom lens so the included hood can't do much to help (otherwise it would cause vignetting) and it works well even with the mid-day sun in the frame. There will be a little flare and ghosting, but this has always been the case with even the best prime lenses. Zooms have a lot more glass which create more opportunities for problems, but they've done a great job with the design to minimize this. The... See less

Price Paid: $435.00 from Sigma-4-Less Summary: I wanted a wide angle lens for my D80 and after reading lots of reviews decided to go with a zoom rather than a fish-eye prime. The only real choices are the Nikon and Tokina 12-24s, the Tamron 11-18, and the Sigma 10-20. The Nikon is probably overall the best, but by a very slim margin, and nowhere close to being worth 2X the cost of either of the other 2. The Sigma and Tonika are comparable, but the Tamron is a dog, so I dropped it off the list with the Nikon. I don't think you can go wrong with either the Sigma or Tokina, but 2mm at the wide end is a world of difference, so I put in an order. This lens quickly became my most "FUN" lens. You can get real creative with it. It is not as sharp as some of my other Nikon lens, but with a little post-processing sharpening the images look very nice even at the 10mm end. My wife wanted me to take a bunch of photos of her grandmother's small antique objects - pieces of jade, little carvings on ivory, some vases, etc. I have never been happy with the D100's built-in flash, and my local camera shop suggested the SB-800 over several other Nikon models (after I told them I would also use it for photographing pets and some indoor photography while sightseeing). This flash is great. First of all, the color is natural... The photos I have been taking of jade, ivory, small glass objects, and even my pets (and my wife as a test subject) come out evenly exposed with no hot spots, especially when using the diffusion dome and pointing the flash up at the ceiling (when mounted on the camera, the flash can be turned, and tilted 90 degrees in about 10 degree increments).
