Hi everyone!
I've been super busy, but I'm sure kaboodle's been awesome while I was away. Among all of the things I've been up to, I chopped all my hair off! As you can see in the photograph, it's a pixie cut now! (Sorry for the odd expression in the picture, I was in the middle of practicing a modern dance piece!)
I can't believe that it's already November. Where did August go? What has everyone been up to? Are you making plans for the holidays?
One of the other things that I've done a lot of since I took a break from kaboodle is sewing. For anyone else out there who loves sewing, I just wanted to spread the word about a competition over on Burdastyle. They are inviting everyone to design and sew a party dress based on the fashion trends of a specific decade. Check it out here. I know that I want to design something, but I'm not sure what yet. Right now I'm really into the gorgeous, drapey silhouettes of the 1930's. What do you think? I'd love to share ideas if you're thinking of submitting something!
I hope that everyone has a great weekend!
Until next time. <3
