$ 899.00 - Lugano Dining...
Ok, so maybe it won't break any guiness records, but to me, its quite the upgrade!  yesterday my family of five went from a WORN down, el cheapo dinette set, seating for FOUR, and finally made the plunge so that we could all eat dinner at the same spot like the quinticential modern day leave it to beaver family we strive to be ;)  After months of research, and an hour in the store where I sat in, wiggled around, extended, jostled, altered seating, and inquired the opinions of every store employee and passerby, and one mass text to some faithful friends who's opinions I trust, the Lugano was purchased, brought home, and set up in time for our spaghetti sunday feast!  Unlike the picture shown above, I chose the more practical second bench instead of four chairs (we purchased just two for the ends).  Each bench can hold 3-4 adults or probably up to 5 children each (birthday parties)!  The table space is substantial!  The whole set swallows our dining area, but we're a few short years from outgrowing our first home anyways, so pat on my back for me always thinking upgrade! (do you see how my mind works?)  I'm pleased as punch over this purchase and the only thing left for me to figure out- is the perfect everyday centerpiece, since I officially have room for one! Any ideas?????????????

  • I think the bench is such a good idea! It's perfect for kids and I think I'd probably choose to sit on them myself, I prefer an informal dining style. Great choice! Report Spam Posted by x0xsharicex0x at 12:05 PM on 02/09/10

  • I love the set, especially the bench. Centerpieces are hard, they should match whatever else you have in your dining room and also not get in the way of dinner too much. I'm so traditional I like things that involve either flowers or candles. Report Spam Posted by lavabunny at 1:30 PM on 02/09/10

  • I love this. Congratulations!! And I like how you think...now a bigger home to put it in. :) Wish I could help with a centerpiece, but I don't even have a dining room. Report Spam Posted by lamerchick at 1:35 PM on 02/09/10

  • i loved reading this, and can really imagine your excitement. good thing you waited, because you really got a set you love! its beautiful. love the benches too. im with @lavabunny about the centerpiece. i really just like flowers, but can see that would get expensive to keep around. maybe some sort of vases and candles arranged in the middle. not sure what the color of the room is but these are cute: http://www.westelm.com/products/a762/?pkey=cvases-objects Report Spam Posted by cupcakexo at 3:42 PM on 02/09/10
