Thank You Mr. Postman - Yoga Delight

Yay! Its here!
My postman delivered a package for me today, and upon seeing the shape I knew exactly what it was - my brand new, knee and spine saving piece of relief, also known as the "Aurorae Northern Lights Ultra Thick Yoga Mat".
I have recently gotten into a morning routine of a session of either Yoga or Pilates. Thanks to hardwood floors it came down to "Mat Up" or quit time. Towels & blankets resulted in sessions worthy of Tosh.0 (without the web redemption!) and without anything underneath me..well lets just say I've got enough bruises to play Dot to Dot and get actual results. Maybe a giraffe.
Anyway after its first trial (this morning!) I'm super happy with this mat! I spent about an hour trolling the internet looking for one that wouldn't break the bank but also had decent reviews. I have to agree with all the customer postings on this one. I liked the color options available, but I loved the color (Passion) of the red version.
It is very thick (5mm) but its soft, not hard like some thicker mats Ive seen, but kind of springy. Its fairly light to carry. The last picture belongs to Amazon, I put it up to show the texture. Its design allows it to have grip on the floor and also give your body some grip so you are better able to hold your poses. I also like how long the mat is (72'X24"). I'm 5'5, and am able to lay fully on the mat without hanging off on each end, which is something I find very annoying when borrowing mats. The site also explains how to keep it clean and bacteria free.
Eco bonus? Its made from Biodegradable material and is Phthalates and Latex free.
All in all...me and my knees are pretty happy.
Time to go drink some tea...Peace :)
