this is really cute. it looks to me like its pale yellow but the lace band looks brown, although you say its grey. my eyes must be bad or something! hah. what i think is cute about this dress is the straps! they arent spaghetti strapped, they have a thicker band-love that.

as far as wearing it to a smaller wedding, hmmm...it just looks a little too summery for me. although i dont think you should have to buy something else just for a small get-together wedding. sorry, not sure!!

very cute dress. i think it's good for an informal wedding. i'm with cupcake, though. it's summery. maybe pair it with a little grey shrug? then again, you will be inside, so it won't really matter. super cute. :)

you look adorable! for a small wedding that you are describing you can get away with it for sure... dress is up a bit with some cute gray lace tights and awesome heels. You can also throw on a gray cashmere sweater to keep warm. Pair with some beautiful silver jewelry!

The dress is super cute. I think it would be just fine for a small wedding. Unless you happen to know that a lot of the other guests are wearing something more dressy. Styling I think maybe simple jewelery - a small pendant necklace, some thing bangles or a cuff maybe. The dress makes such a statement, you don't want to steal any thunder from it! Other than that, maybe a crop sweater or bolero/cropped jacket in case you get chilly. Or if you've got a wrap, that would work too. The shoes you're wearing with it look great, or you could also go with a basic pump or peep toe. I thought about a belt, to make it a more casual look for another purpose after the wedding, maybe high up close to the lace or skinny belt in the middle, but...it might be too much, but you could try it and if looks bad in the mirror, then fuggedaboutit! :)

Might be too late to say now, but it does look like the perfect dress for a small, less-formal wedding. I agree wholeheartedly with @agauthier79 that you don't want to detract from it. A simple shawl or wrap would be called for if it's chilly.
