I love buying presents!

Hopefully my boyfriend will not checkout my Kaboodle page, but I don't think he ever has in the past, so I am probably safe now.
I love buying presents. If I were rich, I would:
1. Be a professional philanthropist and create a foundation so I could help people who need financial assistance.
2. Buy people lots of gifts.
The main challenge in buying gifts is to avoid giving people things that they will keep around for a year or two and then get rid of. I like to get gifts that will be useful and/or something that has some sort of special value. For example, for Jake's birthday (Jake is the BF) I got him two tshirts because he loves tshirts, some of his are wearing out and he likes Zero Effect (the blue shirt) and he thinks birds are weird (the grey shirt). The plushie is from a comic strip we both love, and the DVDs are an out of publication cartoon that we have not been wanting to pay $80-$120 for.
I am so excited for his birthday! We are also going to Todai for lunch with two of his best friends, his aunt/uncle/cousins, his mom and his brother. He and his brother have the same birthday, so they both get free lunch at the restaurant.
Also, I'm starting to get ready for Christmas. Besides my direct family/Jake's family, I have 8 younger cousins and a stepsister that I get things for every year. Time to start setting aside some money from the weekly paycheck...

Shopping for other people is one of my favorite things. But it sure does get expensive, especially during the holidays.

I LOVE SHOPPING FOR CLOSE FRIENDS AND FAMILY=]..I JUST LOVE THE LOOK ON THERE FACE ESPECIALLY BUYING THE STUFF THEY REALLY WANT AND PRETENDING LIKE I DIDN'T GET THEM NOTHING..LOL..MY HUSBAND BIRTHDAY IS COMING UP IN 2 WEEKS AND I STILL CAN'T FIGURE OUT WHAT TO GET HIM.HE HAS GAVE ME COUPLE CLUES..HAHAHA..BUT I'M ACTING LIKE I DON'T GET HIM OR I DON'T KNOW WHAT HE IS TALKING ABOUT..=)WELL.. HOPE U HAVE FUN @ LUNCH W/UR BOYFRIEND AND FRIEND'S/FAMILY'S.;)AND UR BOYFRIEND WILL LOVE IS GIFTS THOSE ARE AWESOME STUFF.
This is hard to pick just the right thing for everyone I know. My 6 year old brother anything works. The rest I just cross my fingers and hope they like it. Good luck to you!!! : }
YAY! I love shopping for others too - -but since I have no dinero right now, I'll settle for online, window shopping.
If I were rich, I would:
A. Continue to live like nothing has changed -- Keep it real!~
B. Start a scholarship especially for stay-at-home moms/dads so they can go back to school and continue their education OR a grant/loan for those wanting to start a small or at-home business.
I love buying presents too, although I sometimes find it hard to get people stuff, like my dad, I neeeeever know what to get him. I'm starting to think about Christmas presents already because I hate leaving it til late.

Haha, this is exactly the mindset I'm in right now! I have been having trouble finding work recently so haven't been able to do any shopping for myself but I've started to do my Christmas shopping and have really enjoyed doing it! I can't splash out like I've wanted to, but still it is nice finding lovely things in my price range even if it means buying the rollerball mini of a perfume instead of a full bottle. Those are some awesome t-shirts!

I actually get more pleasure buying gifts for loved ones than buying stuff for myself. I just bought the Tiffany's key necklace for my future sis-in-law as a combo birthday/"thank you" present for hosting my shower, and I was DYING to see her face while she opened it.

I love it too. I love finding that gift that i just know the other person will love. Its the best feeling. Though finding THAT gift can sometimes be the most frustrating thing in the world!
