Laying Foundations

I've determined that it is difficult to find a good foundation brush. Right now I have a
Sonia Kashuk foundation brush that leaves streaks because the hairs on it clump together while I'm using it. It takes a lot of patience to use, and even though it was only $10 I was expecting better. I've purchased other Sonia Kashuk brushes before and been happy with them, so this was a disappointment to me.
My other brushes are all MAC, but I would rather not spend $32 for a brush if I don't have to. Does anyone have any experience with the EcoTools ($6.99) or Benefit ($20) brushes?
Which would you pick?
Thanks!

Good brushes are hard to find! I have heard great things about MAC brushes, but do not own this one. I have to say, that with brushes (artist and makeup) you always get what you pay for! And a good brush will last you the rest of your life, if properly taken care of. So buy the fancy one, and you'll save money having rebuy cheap ones.
i havent tried any of these here but i do own the mark. foundation brush. i havent used it much since its summer and i try not to wear foundation everyday. but i like the brush and its pretty cheap ($6!) it also got good reviews on the site. i apologize, i dont remember how to post links. but check it out:

bare escentuals makes great brushes, like this one

I have been using MAC brushes for quite a few years and they are great! I'm sure other brushes are just as good if they are professional.
MAC Brushes are simply awesome. However, I wouldn't go with the 190. It basically clumps if you don't wash it after every use and does get mildly streaky. It is fine if you use a bob brush to smooth out the streaks. But I do reccomend the MAC 187 brush for you... though it is expensive it is the best brush I have ever used for foundation and it can also be used for blush.
I haven't tried the exact brushes you have here, but I do have a couple of other MAC brushes that I really like. I also recently picked up a couple of Sonia Kashuk brushes at Target and they are fantastic and a really good value.
I use some random brand that was the cheapest at longs and i really like it! No streaks or anything, and they are staying together nicely =]
I don't have any of these brushes and rarely wear foundation, but I have used the Bare Escentual kabuki brush and loved it, have some brushes that I got ages and ages ago for free from Clinique and then some drugstore brushes. The drugstore brushes are relegated to being baby powder brushes for when I wax because they are so useless. The Clinique brushes are pretty nice though. If you have a Sephora near you I love how helpful the staff is there and you might be able to find a good brush that is cheaper than MAC. Still a good quality brush should last you years so I think it could be worth the investment.
Sorry I really can't help. The foundation I have is liquid. I haven't bought a brush in a long time. I abolutely would not pay more than ten dollars for it though. Let us know what you pick.
