Origins Product Review

Update time! I've been using both of these products for a little over two weeks now.
Three times a week I use Modern Friction when I wash my face at night. The instructions say to put it on dry skin first, rub it lightly and then while rinsing work it into a light lather. I start with damp skin because it is easier to work with.
I use A Perfect World twice a day, in the morning after I get out of the shower, and at night after I was my face.
Overall, my skin feels smoother and softer. I have some acne scarring on my forehead (years of cystic acne, pretty much gone now but the damage is done), and the surface looks smoother and less puffy. During the month I usually have a couple small breakouts, and I still had them, but they were much smaller and easier to manage. They were gone within a couple days, and they were easier to conceal.
I've been using the Silk Screen Refining powder makeup with the
Stay Tuned Balancing face makeup, but I can totally get away with just using the powder. It covers really well and it is easy to layer if I want to conceal problem spots. I haven't had to do any touch ups mid-day either, and at the end of the day my face doesn't feel cakey or gross.
I'm really happy with all three of these, and I will probably check out a couple other products I got samples for. I definitely recommend these products!

Sounds awesome! What is A Perfect World? I need a new face wash myself, this stuff sounds great!
awesome post! these all sound fantastic, and i've never used any of them.. i'm always up for trying new things :) thank you!
@dreapuff A Perfect World is technically a serum that is supposed to soothe your skin, but I use it as a moisturizer too. If you have dry skin you would probably want to follow it up with an additional moisturizer. It's kind of spendy, but you don't use very much at a time, and a bottle of it should last about 3 months.
ooh I've been looking for a good serum and A Perfect World sounds really promising. It got amazing reviews on the Origins site too. Thanks for posting!
Great blog post! I am also a huge fan of Origins. I also use the Perfect World serum every day (and also Perfect World for Eyes) and I love it. I use Modern Friction once or twice a week (when I remember!) and end up just using it in the shower in the morning because it's easiest. For moisturizer, I also use the Perfect World line (I've been using it for a few years now) and I find that it really leaves my skin feeling super soft and smooth. I highly, highly recommend this whole line as well!
cool, i want to try this stuff, thanks for the review!
I love that the surface of your skin looks smoother! Acne scars are something I've been battling and it's definitely one expensive fight (lasers). I'll have to check this out. Thanks so much for coming back with your review...I was curious about what you thought!
I have really dry skin so I use Origins Checks and Balances frothy face wash. But I love the Origins line!
LoVe Origins!
Sounds like a great experience. I might have to try these out soon!
i've been wondering about origins products, but no one i know has used them yet. thank you so much for the review!
