The Oscar countdown is here at last, and I'm posted on my couch to watch the best part of the night's events, the time honoured walk of the Red Carpet.

Now normally I wouldn't begin writing until the morning after, but I just caught sight of what Miley Cyrus is wearing tonight and I had to express my amazement.

Although I'm not a fan of Miley's music or acting, she has a great sense of fashion, which she's showing off tonight with more style and class than I can aptly describe.

Unfortunately I can't remember what make the dress is (someone pleeeease tell me, I'd love to know) but whoever made it is awesome in so many ways! The dress is whimsical and youthful, with all it's sparkles and girly fairy-like layers, yet it isn't childish (in fact it makes her look quite mature). It's fitted beautifully in the bust, with an elegantly high waist that shows off her figure. I love the shoulders and neckline too (they're modest enough for her age without being prude).

Anyhow ... I'll stop adoring the dress now and let you admire the pictures.
