So I finally decided to buy Sally Hansen's Nail Color Pen. I've been eying them for a while, but couldn't bring myself to spend $8.50 for something I thought I would end up hating. I painted my nails yesterday afternoon. I think I like it. I wouldn't use it for everyday, but it's good to have when you are in a hurry and need an emergency mani. The first coat went on smoothly but was very transparent. There were some spots near the cuticle that I had a hard time reaching. The second coat went on with a ton of brush strokes, but they disappeared as it dried (which it did very quickly). There is almost no shine, but not a true matte either. I think a good topcoat of clear would have been a good idea. The ends are already looking a little worn, but as I said for a quick fix, not bad.

I love these! For myself i'm using the OPI collection Nic's sticks! It's easier to apply & the color last longer than i thought! I'm pretty sure the Sally hansen does the same as well! I just got this recently too. It was a buy one get one free sale, so I figured what the heck. It was only 6.50 at my store. I liked how quick it went on, and after two coats, I loved the color ( I had it in the black cherry shade, I think - it was very dark purplish red).
