Well...theres an outlet mall a couple minutes away and I alwasy go to the Bath & Body Works there. They have AMAZING prices! Like I got a $10 lip gloss for $1 (I bought two), two sprays for $5, and all the mini lotion bottles are $1.50!

@dizzydancer, omg! that sounds amazing. sadly, the outlet mall closest to me is around an hour away. the money id spend on gas i could just pay full price for the product. :[ i love that they sell co bigelow gloss, is that what you got? and 2 sprays for $5! gahh..lovely!

It never really happened to me but i hate when a good product is in a limited edition.This means you gotta hurry up if you really like it to buy another one... I bought a limited edition perfume by Miss Sixty and loved it so much! But when my bottle will be empty i can't bought some more...this makes me mad!

omg!! yes.. i remeber victoria secret couple years ago had this body lotion that smelled sooooooooo good i think it was green apple with cinnimon sounds kinnda weired but gesshhh.. that smelled sooo good..i bought 2 bottles.. a month later.. they dont have it=/..i guess it was limited which i didnt know. but i was soo pissed..lol..

MAC has a going going gone section online in which I found my favorite red lipstick. It turns out they are no longer even making that line of lipstick anymore, so if I want another one I can get one now while they are selling of the discontinued products.

Bath and Body used to have a Breathe line that had a scent called Energy that I loved. It was really similar to Clinique Happy (which I like, but can't always afford) so it was my day to day perfume. I don't know what happened to it, but I can't ever find it anymore. :(

I just did a search and the cheapest bottle of Breathe Energy (regularly $16.50) I found was selling for $39.99 - others for $45, $60, and even $70 for a 3.3 oz. bottle!

Bath & Body have always sold their discontinued products online, however now they are increasing the collection. In select Bath & Body Works, they are selling the "discontinued" items again at full price. The company wants to see how well they will sell. If some sell well, they may become permanent scents again (or at least thats what we've been told).

Bath & Body Works is also opening outlet stores that only sell their discontinued products, at sale prices. So far, the two in my area are doing amazingly well. Hopefully you'll get outlets in your area.

Peony will probabaly return. Its taken them awhile to get all the old scents back up. They did that with Cotton Blossom and people complained so it was brought back to the web site. You may want to email Bath & Body Works, and tell them how much you love Peony. It goes along way when the customer does that and sometimes the company allows you to buy the scent directly from them (its worth a try).

I also hate when things get discontinued.

Oh and if you haven't already...ask in your local Bath & Body if they have any Peony in the back room. Sometimes BBWs keep stock from semi-annual.

It's always sad when they discontinue a product you like, but I also think it is fun to find something new. My favorite Bath and Body works scent was Night Blooming Jasmine, but they did away with that one several years ago. I like their Cherry Blossom scents that they have now, and all the variations on that scent that they have created.

I hate it when stores discontinue stuff. I had a gorgeous Lancome eyeshadow, a taupe-pink-mushroom colour, that they no longer do. Plus, Lush always seem to discontinue my favourite products, notably the Arabian Brights hair treatment. They brought back some old stuff with Retro Lush, but not my favourite product : (

VS had some awesome body sprays that they discontinued, turquoise paradise was my favorite :(

@soofaye That was my favorite there too! I still have most of a body spray left, I stocked up when they clearanced it.

Yes and I hate it. I addressed it a while ago in the Gloss Kit.

@gregsgal, i loved that breathe line! i think the one i really like was romantic or something like that, it was the red packaging. ohh how i miss that scent!

@jessicachanel, i sure hope peony returns! i will buy it out. im obsessed with that fragrance. i love the fact that you work there and can give us a lot of insight! and i have asked about stores having peony in the backroom, but they never do. either that or the girls dont want to check. ;]
