*WIW On the First Day of School 08.24.09!*

Hello Ppl!!! Okay so i know this is late but i wanted to post this! Monday August 24th, was my first day of school, and it was great! I saw all of my friends and i just had a good time! SO, i'm in the 11th grade (WOOT WOOT! Never knew i would make it this far! lol), and i take a-lot of classes. Our schedules are divided into A-days and B-days, so on our schedules we have like 6 or 7 classes. I take: AP Chemistry, AP Calculus, US History, Medical Terminology, P.E, American Literature and Spanish 1. (I took Spanish 1 and 2 in the 7th and 8th grade but i don't quite remember it, so i'm taking it again!)
As you may have noticed, i am wearing a uniform :(. At our school we are required to wear uniforms and they are SO strict when they check them. We have to wear Navy blue or White polo shirts with only 3 buttons, khaki pants, skirts or shorts (but we can't start wearing shorts until June 1st oh and no cargos), all black or brown shoes and a solid black or brown belt. Our earrings can't be any larger than a quarter and we can't wear anything that has a logo on it unless it is our school logo. No hats or scarves are to be worn inside the building and we can't carry any bags around the school if they are bigger than a sheet of paper. If they are larger than that, we have to keep them in our lockers. No zip up cardigans or hoodies and all sweaters have to be either navy blue or white. Now tell me that isn't strict! But over all that uniform stuff, our school really is a Good school.
OH and I got my hair cut guys! I got my bang cut again (i had one like 2 summers ago), but i didn't choose too. Me and my sister go to the hair salon together and she said "You should get your bang cut again. I really liked that on you." So i told my aunt (and also my stylist) that i wanted a bang! Tell me what you guys think of it!

I didn't even reliaze you were wearing a uniform, I thought that you picked it out yourself! ( In a good way) The uniform looks really good on you too. And your you have AP classes which must make you smart!And your bangs look sooo good on you!
Wooooah, now that is really strict! My school is considering going to uniforms which they might start using the second semester of this year T-T But I'm hoping they'll wait until I graduate :D Haha. But anyway, I love your bangs, very cute :)
My high school was like that too! :) If you wouldn't have said anything I wouldn't have noticed. Love the outfit. The polo shirt is a great find. I also love the bag. :D

but besides all the crap... you still look good! i bet its hard to be more unique or stand out when your school is so strict. so how do you you stand out when you want to?
what about hair? can you not color your hair bright colors? id die if i could have done that when i was in high school. high school is all about being unique and having away to make yourself known... im rambeling, sorry!
You look so cute, I didn't even realize you had a uniform on. Your school is way strict! I would be in so much trouble for my earrings. I'm sure you'll rock your AP classes. Make sure to take those AP tests, I had all AP in high school and I skipped a year of college because of it. Glad you had a great first day.
"011"..! LoL.! But yeah, your school is wayy strict. I have to wear uniforms at my school also. We have to wear pink and black, which I hate pink by the way. But overall it's pretty cool. Plus the school is an all girls school too.! 3rd year there and im off to California. But anyways, it doesnt look like your even wearing a uniform. Btw your sister was right, the bangs are really cute on you.! Good luck :)

omg i have a crazy strict dress code too! we have uniforms...we can't wear hoop earring, nailpolish, only white socks...completely white or completely black shoes, yadda, yadda :) don't worry ur not hte only one...i'm in 7th grade this year! yay!

dang, that is strict! sorry about the uniform, but you still manage to look cute :] your hair looks great, too! (i'm taking chem too! it sucks doesn't it?)
It's hard having a uniform isn't it. I had one and it was really hard to stand out from the crowd. The teachers used to inspect uniform every morning we had the silliest rules, like hair bands only being in school colours. Your hair looks lovely.

anyway....we not necessarily have to wear uniform-uniform, it just has to be the color, like a white or light blue button up shirt from F21...
but they go too far by telling us what kind of EARRINGS we can and cannot wear....!??! I dont start til the 8th, thank God!
That bob is a WIN, i like it. I had a bob last year, grew out over the summer so i'll find some ways to manage it, magazines will help..lol

Well, back in high school I would be able to. -^_^- I had to wear a uniform too, and it was basically the same rules as yours EXCEPT our shirts were SCHOOL ISSUED-- so they were like thick, guy-style polos (ick) with our school logo on the lapel. We could carry backpacks/bags though, and accessories were completely up to us. I got in trouble so much for LITTLE things that violated dress code, so silly... Anyway, it's not that bad and you do look cute! Hope you have a good school year!
