A little late, but here are some pics from my recent trip to DC/Baltimore to celebrate the 4th. I love going up to DC-and especially Georgetown-for the SHOPPING but this time I was there with my boyfriend so unfortunately there was no shopping to be had :( Instead we did the whole cheesy tourist thing and hit up the monuments and museums. We saw a really cool 3D IMAX show at the Museum of Natural History about deep sea creatures (which kinda put a damper on our plans later that night to eat at a Seafood restaurant....). The next day we went up to Baltimore's Inner Harbor for a day which was really beautiful.
Anyway, I definitely recommend a DC/Baltimore trip! Just be prepared for ridiculous parking fees (we paid $18 for 2 hours parked in Baltimore...). Girls from the 'burbs like myself are used to parking for free!
Oh and if you do head up to Georgetown for a shopping adventure be sure to hit up the Annie Cream Cheese Vintage Shop. My sister works there--ask for Emily ;)
What I'm Wearing:
Day 1
Arden B. Burnout Sharkbite Tank
Arden B. Bandage Mini Skirt
Day 2
Charlotte Russe Tiered Linen Tube Dress
Michael Kors Handbag

That sounds like so much fun. Sorry there was no shopping to be had. That wouldn't work. :) You're so pretty and I adore those outfits and your shoes in the second one too. They're just perfect. You remind me of me where you could have easily worn jeans and a tank put chose to dress it up a little, but still look just right. :) Love it!
Thanks! I'm just glad I brought comfortable walking shoes. I'm pretty sure we walked like 20 miles that weekend. When I came home from the trip I swear I had lost 5 lbs even though I had been pigging out on the typical "i'm on vacation calories mean nothing" foodie fare + lots of additional alcohol calories. Not that I'm complaining or anything ;) But really, no wonder City girls are so thin.
You're welcome. What are those shoes, I really like them. And they are perfect with that dress, which I have borrowed from you also. :) that's great to go on vacation and pig out and still lose weight. :) We all could use vacations like that. Yeah, the walking can do that. I walk a lot.
