Pawsitively Delicious

My pug Sophie had her first frozen treat today. A local ice cream shop called J.P. Licks sells "Cow Paws." This is their version of an ice cream treat for dogs,
complete with bone-shaped cookies on top, and it smelled like peanut
butter. (Obviously this is all I know since I didn't try it). It was quite large and only $1.50!
I think at some point my little pug got a brain freeze, so I had to take it away from her. Otherwise I think the look on her face shows how much she loved it. [She had it dribbling down the front of her face, but I think we now know why it's called JP 'LICKS.']
I've seen some places try to hike up the prices on items for pets. A doggie bakery around the corner from us (adorable, but definitely for the yuppie puppy) has birthday cookies for dogs that are $4.95. (Hello?! I think it's excessive when I spend $3 on a cookie for myself. And I'm a huge cookie fan.) Pampering pets is a silly fad. In reality, we don't have to spend a ridiculous amount of money on our pets to show them our love!
